Convoy of Hope is an interdenominational ministry that works to serve the local community. Seeing it at work in the Wichita area for some time, several local pastors are now working to bring the ministry to the Hutchinson area. Hutchinson churches are working together with the Convoy of Hope organization to minister to the local community by providing backpacks, groceries, and other things (like snow cones!) to area residents.
The leadership of Crossroads CC opted to make a donation to the local event from our benevolence fund. We are also leading a group of volunteers on the morning of the event; our role is to make and hand out snow cones to people as they come through the pickup line.
